VegasChatter fan Curtis emailed us to say that he's hitting Vegas in June with the guys and is looking for a less sexy option than Paris. We understand, sometimes you just don’t want the man dictating your rubber selection.

Trolling for deals June 1-4, we found some decent offers amid some rooms that were surprisingly a bit expensive for a mid-week stay. Since we aim to please all budgets – but still want to score a deal, here are a few rates we liked:

Just like Matt Goss, it’s always been our dream to take up residency at Caesars Palace. Unfortunately for us, unlike Matt Goss, our musical prowess means that our residency will have to be purchased. So when we saw a hotel that we were pretty sure was Caesars going for $72 on Hotwire, we knew our time had come.

So heres our latest success story. This past weekend, we had a friend staying and since we were bored of never being able to drink and drive, we thought wed go halves and get a room on the Strip for one night. We plumped for Sunday, to get as good a deal as possible, and hit up Hotwire. We were thinking of trying for something along Flamingo/Paris/Ballys lines, but what did we see? A 4.5 star hotel on the Central Strip was coming up as $72. Yes, $72. And cross-referencing what it offered

We were a bit disturbed this morning when we read that Katie Price and Alex Reid were shacked up in a $10000 a night penthouse down at Planet Hollywood. On a Tuesday night? Were they being fleeced?

Later on we were relieved when the fine Norm Clarke tweeted that their honeymoon suite was a wedding present from PH top dogRobert Earl. We wouldn’t have liked to have think of our Jordan being taken advantage of.
