The Five Best Sportsbooks in Vegas

#4. Aria Resort and Casino...Go to #3

Aria Resort and Casino
Since Aria is the newest casino in town, its sports book automatically earns a spot on this list. And because it’s smaller than most, the Aria book can best be described as “intimate,” almost like a modern take on the Off Track Betting shops of old.

An additional bonus: the separate horse racing room, which lets pari-mutuel bettors exist in their own little world (instead of sharing floor space with a bunch of fanatical NFL fans). Perhaps the only downside is the number of ticket windows (six).

· Ambiance: Book, like the rest of the main casino, feels modern and sophisticated. Odd angles make room seem much larger than it really is.
· Clientele: Lots of newcomers; book is still too new to have cultivated regulars.
· Odds: All tied into MGM/Mirage numbers set by Jay Rood at The Mirage.
· Food: Adjacent Skybox restaurant serves upscale versions of traditional bar food.
