The Five Best Sportsbooks in Vegas

#3. Caesars Palace...Go to #2

Caesars Palace
The book at Caesars Palace is and always has been the granddaddy of ‘em all. In 1998, when ESPN Magazine published a list of 99 things sports fans must do before they die, the authors listed watching a major sporting event at Caesars as No. 5.

Sure, the spacious and open-to-the-casino book has four movie screen-sized televisions and tremendous lightboards that scroll odds all day long. But the best thing about this place is the scene: during big games, it devolves into one big tailgate party.

· Ambiance: What the book lacks in personality it makes up for in diverse crowds; nearby PURE nightclub and Pussycat Dolls gaming pit keep the scene interesting.
· Clientele: Old-school bettors, many of whom have been wagering here for years.
· Odds: Lots of propositional bets, especially during NFL playoffs and Super Bowl.
· Food: Room service available for VIPs in reserved seats; otherwise food court is a short walk away.
