For An Attitude-Free Industry Night, Check out JET Tonight

Hanging in Vegas on a Monday night and want to party like a local? Swing by JET Nightclub at The Mirage for its wildly popular Industry Night. We’ve always preferred Las Vegas better on non-weekend nights (less crowds, lower cover charges, less douchebaggery, easier to get ressies, etc.) and now we make a point of going to JET for Industry Night if we’re in town.

On Mondays, local hospitality workers get in free with the flash of a local ID (there’s never a cover for local women). Non-local guests can go online to buy a VIP Entry ticket for $40, which fast tracks them for immediate entry and includes cover charge.

We like JET because it lacks the "see and be scene" pretentiousness of many local nightclubs, especially on Industry Night. The club tries, but doesn’t try too hard. Get what we’re saying?

Bouncers are usually pretty nice and boobilicious bartenders don’t come across like a bunch of model wannabes who are stuck slinging drinks until the make it big. There are three rooms for partygoers to take by storm, each with a resident DJ spinning Hip Hop, House and Rock and Roll. The main dance floor has stripper poles, which always adds to the pseudo-XXX entertainment factor. Meow.

The club, which is managed by The Light Group, may be more lenient with its dress code requirements than other Vegas nightclubs, but we rarely see folks who look like they should be kicked to the curb, except for maybe Tila "Don’t Call Me Nguyen" Tequila.

On the celebrity upside, Rihanna, Lady GaGa and Sports Illustrated sexpot Marisa Miller have all graced the always-hopping nightclub. If it’s good enough for Gaga, it’s good enough for us.

P.S. If you’re of the female gender and staying at the Mirage, ask for a "Ladies Free" wristband. We’ve also managed to score two free drink coupons (SKYY vodka-based) some nights when we’ve arrived at JET before midnight. Work it, girls, and have fun.
