Here's how Caesars' version works:
Follow Caesars Palace on Twitter or become a fan on Facebook
Use a special promo code for @CaesarsPalace followers to book a two-night stay on Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31, which includes: two Roman Ritual passes at Qua Baths & Spa; complimentary in-room Internet access; a complimentary in-room movie (might we suggest "The Hangover?"); VIP passes to PURE Nightclub for Friday or Saturday night, hosted by Nicky Hilton; a $50 resort credit and more.
Throughout the weekend, @CaesarsPalace will tweet messages announcing giveaways at locations throughout the resort. Once trick or treaters arrive at their destination, there will wait free food and drinks, many provided by Bacardi USA. It sounds far more exciting than sitting at home dishing out discount drugstore candy to the neighborhood kids, right? Caesars Palace has over 25,000 followers and friends, so expect a huge turnout of fellow costumed revelers. No togas, Gladiator or Spartacus costumes, please.
Room rates start at $175 a night, with a Saturday night stay averaging $275.

Grab your cell phone, Smartphone, BlackBerry or PDA and head to Caesars Palace this Halloween for its first ever "Trick or Tweet" weekend.
The "Trick or Tweet" concept seems to have gone viral within the hospitality community, as we've received at well over a dozen press releases from various restaurants and hotel properties hosting like-minded promotions. Uh, not the most original of ideas, but we'll make some leeway for those just hopping on the social media marketing bandwagon.
