Easiest Way to Get Yourself to Vegas for New Year’s? Tweet About It

You’ve seen their “What happens here, stays here” advertisements all over television. Now, the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority is turning to the tweetosphere, rewarding one lucky Vegas fanatic who tweets about Sin City with a free New Year’s vacation in town.
The promotion, dubbed a "tweepstakes," lasts from now until Dec. 3.
Entering is relatively simple, provided you’re familiar with Twitter and how the social networking site works.
First, follow the LVCVA on Twitter. Next, tweet your excuse to be in town for New Year’s Eve. All tweets must include “@Vegas” and “#lvsweeps” to be eligible. These codes enable the LVCVA to track who’s saying what.
Participants can enter once or enter daily, depending on how frequently they like to tweet.
On Dec. 8, LVCVA representatives will select one lucky winner from applicable tweets. The prize: a five-day/four-night trip for two (between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3), including airfare, hotel and two show tickets.
Sounds to us like a pretty easy opportunity for a vacation—where you can prove that what happens in Vegas does indeed stay there.
Oh, and for the record, you can always follow VegasChatter on Twitter as well.
