Frugal Harrah's Hotel Rooms Can Be Had for Just $20

We've heard that Harrah’s was offering some pretty sweet deals if you signed up for its "Hot Deals" online. but today we decided to put it to the test to see just how deal-worthy this was.

What you have to do is log onto their site, click on the “Hot Deals” link and enter your email address (they promise not to spam your inbox with a whole lotta crap). Click through to the Las Vegas link and have your pick of the seven properties – Caesars Palace, Bally’s, Rio, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Imperial Palace, or Paris.

For sh*ts and giggles (and since our budget is stretched to the max), we wanted to see where our almighty dollar would get us and how low we could go within the Harrah’s family of hotels, so we clicked on Imperial Palace. Rates ranged from $20-249 a night, with Sunday to Wednesday night stays yielding the lowest rates. We did find super cheap rates for the weekend of December 18th, with rates coming in at $29 for Friday, $35 for Saturday and $20 for Sunday (if you want to milk another day out of reasonable weekend rates).
