Manilow Moves On Up to The Strip With New Show at Paris

Always wanted to see crooner extraordinaire Barry Manilow in Vegas but too lazy to step off the Strip? Well, 2010 is the year for you! The so-called (by Rolling Stone!) “giant among entertainers” launches a new show at the Paris Las Vegas from March 5. And tickets are on sale now.
Yes, Bazza is packing up his long run with “Ultimate Manilow: The Hits” at the Las Vegas Hilton, and bringing a more intimate show to Paris, one befitting the romance of the casino. (Hey, this is what his people tell us.) Manilow will perform 78 shows each year for two years at Paris—and the first batch of performances from March 5 through July 18, 2010 are already on sale. Quick, take care of your Mother’s Day present now!
Tickets range from $95–$250, and are available from the Paris Théâtre box office, and at ManilowParis.com. For room-plus-tickets packages, visit the Paris Las Vegas website. There’s a two-night minimum stay, but you get two seats in the center section of the orchestra, a $75 food credit at Le Provençal, and either two drinks at Napoleon’s Lounge or admission for two to the Eiffel Tower Ride. We found this package available for March 19–20 for a total of $875.
Which, when you think about it, isn’t such a bad price to pay to keep mom off your back for the rest of 2010. (Is it?) Call your brothers and sisters and get them to pitch in.
P.S. There’s still time to catch Manilow in “Ultimate” mode at the Hilton: he has shows there on December 28, 29, and 30.
