David Spade Gets Snarky at the Venetian

Where: 3355 Las Vegas Boulevard South [map], 89109

David Spade recently embarked on fatherhood and must be feeling the pall of adult responsibility settling upon his narrow, permanently adolescent-looking shoulders. That may be one reason he booked a series of standup engagements at the Venetian this year – even the star of a network series (CBS’ Rules of Engagement) needs a second job these days, what with the skyrocketing price of college tuition.

Another reason might be that he likes hot chicks (and they, fascinatingly, like him) and Vegas is known to be a hotbed thereof.

Whatever the motivation, Spade will be bringing his unique brand of smartass sarcasm to the Venetian showroom April 2-4, 9-11 and 30. Dates have also been announced for May (1-2 and 7-9). Tickets, which are available online, are priced at $65.75, $85.75 and $105.75 inclusive of tax and fees. A limited number of VIP packages, which include front-row seats and the chance to meet Spade after the show, are available for $175.75 per person.

Billed as a “once-in-a-lifetime” opportunity by the show’s publicists, the chance to meet Spade might be expected to be especially memorable if you’re hot and of the female persuasion. We’re just letting you know.
