The M Resort Opens Their Daydream Pool Tonight
A sunglass valet? Free fruit ripe for the picking? VIP cabanas? All that’s missing is a pool boy standing at your feet fanning you with a palm frond. Although, given the level of detail the people at The M Resort have gone to in creating their new Daydream Pool Club, it wouldn’t be surprising if you could find one.
When the more-than-12,000-square-foot space opens tonight at 7 p.m., it will usher in a new generation of raucous and regal resort fun, with ultra high-end amenities geared toward a chic local clientele. Enter one of the 10 VIP cabanas and you are welcomed with a complimentary toast featuring the signature shot of the week. Inside the cabana, refrigerators filled with refreshments and champagne, a fruit and cheese platter, an iPod docking station, a safe, a flat screen TV, free wi-fi, and available massages await.
Non-cabanas-goers can lounge luxuriously as well, with numerous daybeds on the main pool deck. To the north, a hot tub and DJ platform beckon, to the south, it’s a 60+-foot bar with more than 60 feet of ice-railed counters, complimentary fresh fruit and spa beverages, and a lounge area. If you break or smudge your sunglasses, someone will hurry over to fix or clean them. And, easy access through the hotel’s Salon & Spa means no more traipsing through casinos in your flip-flops and cover up.
Come summer, Daydream will host concerts, themed pool parties, festivals and other special events. Until then, Daydream is open for all basic pool necessities like suntanning and taking a dip when you get too hot. Regular pool hours are Thursday to Monday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
