Spend More But Get Way More at the Wynn and Encore

Because not even the most optimistic economic prognosticator is anticipating an end to the recession before the fall, we’re seeing lots of great deals with long windows of availability cropping up. The latest: Wynn and Encore Las Vegas “Indulgent Getaways,” available now through September.

Resort room (Wynn and Encore’s standard-caliber room) rates during this time period start as low as $159 at Wynn and $169 at Encore (both rates quoted are mid-week), based on our quick calendar search. Purchase an Indulgent Getaway, however, and you’ll pay a rate starting at just $429 per night for two nights’ resort room accommodations, two rounds of golf (normally priced at $500 per person) and a prix-fixe lunch at The Country Club steakhouse.

If the Wynn folks were to knock the two-night-minimum on this one down to one night, we know a bunch of locals who’d likely take advantage of it. That rate really is a great value for a course that’s nearly inaccessible to the average duffer otherwise.

Other packages include Romantic Retreat, which starts at $359 per night for two nights’ resort room accommodations, prix-fixe dinner for two at Stratta with a complimentary bottle of wine, premium seats at Le Rêve, which is in fact one of the most jaw-dropping (in a good way) shows on the Strip.

The Suite Life package raises the bar on the typical Wynn/Encore suite experience by adding some of the amenities other resort suites include as standard (private car pickup at the airport, free Internet and phone calls). Guests also receive spa passes, VIP concierge services 24 hours a day and $75 daily resort credit. Suites available in this package are the Salon, Parlor and Executive suites, and rates start at $600 per night.

The most economical offer of all is something called the Distinctive Guest Experience, where folks willing to prepay are allotted $75 resort credit per stay for booking a resort room and $75 resort credit per day for booking a Tower Suites room (the latter also includes airport transfers). Presumably, these Wynn/Encore bucks can be used anywhere on either property.

All packages can be booked at either Wynn or Encore’s Web site.

    ALSO

I heard a rumor that if you're a local, and you decide to buy the suite package, the limo will come and pick you up at your house and bring you to the wynn for your strip vaca!

The blog alludes to that; if you stay in the Tower Suites, you get the airport transfer.

    Rumor...

That's not really a rumor. It's on their website when you go to book. It says Las Vegas residents will be given transportation to and from their home or those who drive into town will be given complimentary car washes.
