Encore has only a resort pool and European pool, but highbrow (and yummy) Botero provides the poolside dining at both. Patrons can also gamble and order snacks at Encore’s Island Pool Bar or order from the in-room dining menu.

At either Wynn or Encore, you’ll pay anywhere from $300 to $450 for a cabana rental, holidays excluded. Massage is available in the cabanas and can be arranged through the applicable hotel’s spa.

So, if you picture an afternoon by the pool as a leisurely occasion spent reading your Kindle and nursing a grown-up cocktail, this is probably the scene for you. Hooting and hollering, tatted-up bikini babes doing body shots off each other are blessedly scarce. We promise.

Hours at both pools are currently 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., but will change to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in June for the remainder of the summer.
