Get Ready for White Castle Goodness at First Food and Bar in the Palazzo

There's a lot of action going on at The Palazzo these days. Barneys New York is rumored to be closing but the Azure adult pool is now open, complete with Saturday fashion shows. And now the Palazzo is set add a new restaurant to its already plentiful tables.

First Food and Bar will open in the Shops at the Palazzo on June 12 where Chef Sam DeMarco is hoping to bring a "neighborhood" bar feel to The Strip.

This hip, yet comfortable restaurant and lounge is set in the heart of the Las Vegas strip and has the vibe of a late-night spot blended with the casualness of a local eatery.

The restaurant's menu will incorporate some of the popular menu items at the first First location in NYC, but with a modern twist. First's signature dish is the "First" original mini-burgers topped with with a secret sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions, and all atop a White Castle bun. Yum. The menu will also include Lollipop Buffalo Wings with Maytag Bleu fondue and Maine Lobster Rolls in mini-potato buns.

The restaurant will open on the second floor of The Shoppes next to Barneys. Right now, it's a new construction area that's closed off to prying foodie eyes.

The restaurant promises to be open really late-night but if it's going to be our neighborhood bar hang-out, then we hope they will serve good old-fashioned pizza by the slice.
