Who Knew? LIVE is Still Alive and Performing

We just know you’ve all been dying to know what happened to LIVE, that band you graduated into after grunge ran its course way back in the mid-90s. You know, the ones that sang about death-by-childbirth and other lighthearted themes in a super-soulful, we-take-ourselves-extremely-seriously sort of way.

Not to imply they’ve sold out our anything, but we were a little surprised to learn they’ve signed up to play a one-night gig at the Palazzo Pools on June 11. You see, poolside concerts in Vegas tend to fall into one of two camps: we’ll call them “Beach Boys Retro” or “Top 40 This Minute.” That being the case, we’re just not sure what this little development says about LIVE’s career.

In any event, tickets went on sale today for $45 for general admission, or $85 for VIP tickets, which include one comp drink, access to the VIP lounge and viewing area as well as entry into the after party.

If you can find six others who are just as wild about LIVE as you are, you can make it an even more memorable occasion by reserving a cabana. For details on cabana rates, which include a bottle of vodka courtesy of concert sponsor ABSOLUT, call (702) 414-9000.
