Get The Famous Guac at Dos Caminos for Less During Happy Hour (And Other Dishes Too)

If you've ever hit up Dos Caminos in New York, then you know all about its famous and fresh made to order guacamole, its tasty ceviches and its creative margaritas. (We're partial to the blueberry pomegranate margarita ourselves.) Fortunately for Vegas visitors and West Coasters, you don't have to splurge on a trip to NYC to eat here. You just need to hit up The Palazzo where a Dos Caminos restaurant is located just off the casino floor.
But like most well-known and well-received restaurants with amazing chefs, it can be a little on the pricey side. Shrimp ceviche, a tiny serving of shrimp, cucumber, avocado and jicama in a spicy tomato-citrus marinade is 12 bucks, and carne asada tacos are $15. They're delicious, but jeez, cut customers some slack.
That's why you need to hit it up during the new Dos Caminos happy hour.
Someone at Dos Caminos heard the cries of "Your Mexican food is so damn good, but we can't come all the time." And with great timing too. The day after tax day, April 15th, the restaurant debuted its happy hour specials that runs seven days a week from 5 to 7 pm.
Get Dos Caminos' delicious homemade guacamole for $8 and chicken chilaquiles, plantain empananas, skirt steak alambre tacos, turkey burger sliders and mini chorizo fundido for $6. As for drink, no margaritas are on the happy hour menu but Dos XX Lager and Amber beers are $4.
Clever of Dos Caminos to give customers a price break the day after tax day, but hey, we're thankful they're keeping this menu around until next year's tax day - and hopefully even longer.
