The Vdara Hotel is Still Set For October 1 But With a $15 Resort Fee

Speaking of CityCenter, we were stalking the Vegas hotel rates on Expedia for this weekend and a listing popped up for both the upcoming Vdara and Aria hotels. Of course, they didn't have any reservations open but we did learn some new info.
For instance, the all-suite Vdara Hotel and Spa will have a daily $15 resort fee that includes in-room internet access, which we believe is a first for The Strip. It will also take care of your local and toll-free calls, newspaper delivery, turndown service, two bottles of water daily and access to the fitness center. Also, the entire resort will be smoke-free. Very sweet indeed.
The Vdara Hotel will open on October 1. Room rates start at $199 a night. As with every other place in Vegas, views will cost you more. Rooms with pool and lake views bump up to $239 a night while the Panoramic suite tops out at $400 a night.
