Just In Case You Weren't Sure, The Hangover Was Filmed at Caesars Palace
The Hangover (the movie, not the dreaded morning after affliction) is out in theaters tonight and Caesars Palace doesn't want you to forget that their hotel and casino served as the location for most of the movie.
We mentioned earlier this week that Caesars Palace has kicked off a Hangover Contest where Facebook users and Twitterers can enter to win a two or three-night stay there. But just in case you aren't hip to the social media tricks and would rather pay your own way, the hotel has created...what else?...Hangover-inspired hotel packages.
The Hangover Package is rather simple. Rates start at $120 a night and includes a $50 food and beverage credit. A minimum of two nights is needed.
However, The Ultimate Hangover Package seems to be the one that will create some crazy adventures a la the movie.
For the "Ultimate Hangover Package," guests will receive 2-night accommodations in a Double Bay suite with a $50 credit at Caesars Palace's brand new sweet and savory eatery, Serendipity III where the credit can be used for the "Hangover Breakfast" Omelet; two VIP passes to PURE Nightclub and two passes to Venus Pool with a $50 beverage credit. Price begins at $300 per weekday evening and $550 per weekend evening. The packages are available through Aug. 1, 2009.
This package definitely has all the elements to give you a wicked hangover in the morning but we're sort of wondering when the bloody marys or hair of the dogs come into play. Even a giant bottle of water and a couple of Advil on the nightstand would be much appreciated too.
To book either package, hit up the Caesars Palace website or call (866) 782-0655.
