The Hard Rock’s been slowly revealing its new self in recent months, one that will, come early 2010, be nearly three times the size of its original incarnation. It’s already hired 400 new employees to help accommodate the new version of the The Joint music venue, Hart & Huntington Tattoo, rare 120° steakhouse and expanded convention space.
There’s still more to come, however, which means the Hard Rock plans to employ another 800 people by the end of the year. Positions available skew toward the front-line hospitality side of the spectrum and include housekeepers, bellmen, front-desk attendants, reservation agents and “on-call dealers.”
Seeing as the expanded Hard Rock will include not only two new hotel towers – one of those is all suites – but also a new nightclub and new, 30,000 square-foot spa, it’s reasonable to assume if you’re a job-hunting sexy bartender or masseuse, there might be a niche for you, too.
