The Villa Soleil, the premier cabana offering at Mandalay Bay, will set you back anywhere from $900 on a weekday (Sunday-Thursday) to $1,600 on a holiday weekend, but some would say the “amenities” you get are priceless.

For starters, the villas are technically at Moorea Beach, Mandalay’s “European bathing,” adults-only pool area. That means their third-floor location (atop the poolside casino) offers a birds-eye view of Moorea’s topless bathing beauties down below. If, for some unimaginable reason, that's not enough to make you want to hand over next month's rent money, they also offer other perks like a 50-inch LCD TV, MP3 docking station, wet bar, private restroom, changing area and a private pool that’s shared with the other Villas Soleil.

Size-wise, they’re big enough to accommodate up to 16 people at 250 to 500 square feet, and feature comfy daybeds, cushiony chairs and a fridge stocked with ice, soft drinks and water. Villa servers won’t leave you wanting for anything else, either, and can be expected to pop by and take your orders for adult beverages and food throughout the day. Friday through Sunday, masseuses give poolside or in-villa rubdowns for those who really want to luxuriate.

Cabana hours are 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday and 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For info about all of Mandalay Bay’s cabana offerings, including Villa Soleil, click here.
