Simply put, this is one of the city's great breakfast spots. The variety of omelets are clever, artful in conception, and just damn tasty. We won’t waste too much of your time holding your hand through the menu, but can we just say the Veggie (chock full of onions, broccoli, cheese and the like) and the Green Hornet (avocado, tomato and cheddar) are as close to signature dishes as you could have with locals? And if you dig into the dishes without their delicious pumpkin bread - for shame!/P>
It’s fitting that the Omelet House will be located at the Plaza, both of which are stalwart symbols of old-school Las Vegas. Strictly a breakfast and lunch joint (it’ll be open daily from 7am-4pm), they also has some boss burgers, in particular the Ortega Chiles Burger (which is doused with Ortega chiles and sandwiched between two pieces of Jack cheese). Come to think of it, it’s lunchtime here at VegasChatter.com, we’ll meet you there.
Omelet prices start at $6.99 for a plain cheese omelet and go up to $8.89 for one of the specials.
