Regarding the hotel overall, though, there are still those who love the vibe, love the pool scene, love the preponderance of hotties that seem to converge on the casino floor and in the nightlife venues (Wasted Space, The Joint, Body English), although we were rather chastened by a relatively large number of complaints about the older hotel rooms being “lackluster,” and the staff being “rude.”
Of course, some of the kvetching had to do with the construction activity going on at the resort, which is to be expected and is an unwelcome disruption at any hotel undergoing renovations.
This is a bit of shame, really. With so many rooms opening in the next couple of months, coupled with all the major discounts at Strip Hotels, the Hard Rock should have taken the time to make their new Paradise Tower really stand out. But instead, it looks like a rushed job. And as we told you in our own review of the place, the Hard Rock staff isn't helping.
Paradise Tower rooms start at $149 this Friday night and $419 this Saturday.
