We have no problem pretending it’s Cinco de Mayo every Wednesday night. Heck, if the world was fueled with weekly doses of tequila and deep-fried tortillas, it would probably be a better place. Just saying.
So, we’re more than happy to play along with Mischeive Wednesdays at Tacos and Tequila in the Luxor.
Every Wednesday night from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. resident DJ Ernan will be spinning an eclectic mix of rock-n-roll, Latin and house beats, while bar-hoppers suck down drink specials like $5 house margaritas, $5 Hornitos shots and $5 Tecaté.
We’re not so sure about the human rooster fighting, where party-goers dressed in rooster suits try to pop each others’ balloons for prizes. Maybe after a few of those $5 drinks we’ll be singing a different story.
Afterall, we’ve been known to participate in competitive cake and pie eating contests, a Jello wrestling match and have taken to the stage countless time for karaoke, so anything is possible.
