You Will Now Be Able to 'Taste' The Cosmopolitan on December 16

Over on HotelChatter, we're so used to hotel restaurants opening waaaay after the hotel itself opens that we just didn't expect the forthcoming Cosmopolitan to have all its foie gras, truffles and tacos in a row come December 15. But this is Vegas. Things run on tighter schedules here (well, except for The Harmon and Fontainebleau.)

In dining at the Scarpetta outpost in Beverly Hills last night (at the Montage Beverly Hills), we learned that Scarpetta Vegas will open on December 16, just one day after the hotel. Indeed, rezzies are already being accepted on Open Table.

Other restaurants that plan on opening December 16? Pretty much all of them including Comme Ca, Holstein's Burger Joint, Blue Ribbon, Jose Andres' Jaleo and China Poblano, D.O.C.G. (from Scarpetta's Scott Conant), Estiatorio Milos, STK and The Henry as well as the Va Bene Caffe coffee bar and the Wicked Spoon Buffet.

You can whet your appetite here and with only 30 days to go until these joints open, it may not be a bad idea to get your reservation in now.
