The entire Boneyard renovation project will be completed in the spring when the visitor center and museum opens in the old lobby of the La Concha motel, but we’ll make sure we pop by to check out the park next month.

There are few things we like better than a blast of retro Vegas so not only are we delighted that the Neon Boneyard reopened in September, but we’re especially excited to read in the Weekly this week that the new park is finished and ready to open to the public next month. In fact, it’s so ready that the sign has already been switched on.
It’s not just any old sign, either – it’s a test for those of you who think you know your Vegas. Recognize that E? It’s a replica of the Caesars lettering. One N is from the Nugget, another from the Desert Inn, and the O is from the Horseshoe. The only difference from the original marquees is that this sign is made from eco-friendly LED lights rather than the original neon. Something green in Vegas? Someone get us a chair, we need a seat.
