The Immortal World Tour will, as its name suggests, go on tour starting in Montreal in October 2011 with stops in Las Vegas (Dec. 3-11), Los Angeles, Miami and New York, along with other U.S. cities. More cities are expected to be announced as well.
After that, according to TMZ it will land at The Mirage for permanent residency sometime in late 2012. We're a little miffed that this show is going to tour for so long before landing in Vegas but given the last Cirque show (the underwhelming Viva Elvis), we think exposing this show to as many audiences as possible to work out the kinks could be a good thing.
But what really has us worried is what will happen to LOVE, the Beatles Cirque show? We thought for sure with the end of Lion King at Mandalay Bay that the MJ show would set up shop there. So we really hope TMZ got its wires crossed on that bit of news.
Either way, we just pray the whole thing goes better than Jermaine Jackson's tribute show.
If you're eager to get your hands on some tickets for the Immortal World Tour, Cirque Club Members and MichaelJackson.com subscribers will have exclusive access to purchase presale tickets online beginning Wednesday, November 3 at 10am Eastern Daylight Time. Tickets will go on sale to the rest of the public on Saturday, November 6. See the dates and times for your cities here.
