Wonder if they put that message up in honor of Jordan?

We were a bit disturbed this morning when we read that Katie Price and Alex Reid were shacked up in a $10000 a night penthouse down at Planet Hollywood. On a Tuesday night? Were they being fleeced?

Later on we were relieved when the fine Norm Clarke tweeted that their honeymoon suite was a wedding present from PH top dogRobert Earl. We wouldn�t have liked to have think of our Jordan being taken advantage of.

But we thought we�d use this as a reminder of the joys of blind booking site Hotwire. Because when we booked a PH room through Hotwire on a Thursday night in the summer, we were upgraded, no questions asked, to a 1,500-sq.ft Panoramic Suite on the 26th floor. And how much did it cost us? A mere $55. Incuding tax, $72.

A couple of weeks later, we did exactly the same thing � Hotwire, Planet Hollywood - and were upgraded to a better level of room and had coupons thrust in our faces for just $72.

Moral of the tale? If you�re not a premier famewhore or friends with Robert Earl, or getting married, you really should try give Hotwire roulette a spin.
