Anyone know what’s going on with The Space Formerly Known As The Steve Wyrick Theater?

The lights are off, there’s no one home, but the hoardings are still up and the shop still has Wyrick t-shirts racked up forlornly.

We’re taking it as read that Wyrick and his orange tan are gone for good, but we’re wondering who, if anyone, is going to move in there. And, more importantly, will it be a magician? Hope so.

We like the freaky stuff, and we love the cheesy stuff, so we wouldn’t be unhappy to see Dirk Arthur move his cheesalicious show there. But seeing as it couldn’t make it at the Tropicana, we’re thinking that’s unlikely. A return for Scarlett and her Seductive Ladies of Magic? Even more unlikely. Moving Criss Angel there to free up the space in Luxor? Wishful thinking.

According to the Review Journal a while back, Miracle Mile do want to keep it as a performance space, and have "fielded a number of enquiries."

Anyone thought about popping over an invite to Derren Brown? He would ace it.
