Eight Things You (Probably) Didn't Know Were In Imperial Palace

As you might remember, we went to the premiere of Divas Las Vegas last Thursday. We’ll bring you the review of the show very soon, but before we get down to the nitty gritty, we thought we’d talk about the place it’s performed in.

Because we’ll go out on a limb here and say no matter how many times you’ve trolled up and down the Strip, we doubt you’ve ventured into Imperial Palace. After all, one look at its exterior is normally what has us saying goodbye.

But, as we wrote over on our sister website HotelChatter on Friday, we were very pleasantly surprised by our first visit to IP. So, in a bid to coax you through the parking bit and in the door, we thought we’d bring you a little gallery of what’s on offer inside. There’s Elvis. There be dragons. And there be real live Justin Timberlakes (sort of). Have a look for yourselves. It might just blow your mind.

    two things

    1. the table stools made me cringe, but i, too was rather impressed with the IP.

    2. how do you enter the casino from the Strip?  i always get lost around that open-air marketplace near Harrah's.

    entering

you go in where it looks like the carpark - there's a tiny walkway down the side. not too appetizing.

also i quite like the chairs, because i like to think they are ironic. please don't destroy my illusions.

and yeah it smelt of smoke but i didn;t notice it any more than other places. maybe i got it on a good day.
