The Love Festival was first conceived in 1992 as an underground dance music festival. This probably explains how the event was named since “Ecstasy induced glow stick loving rave” doesn’t quite roll off the tongue. The event has since spread its seed worldwide and “America’s longest running dance music festival” returns to Vegas for the sloppy second year in a row.

Last year’s Vegas event included DJs Paul van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell, and Paul Oakenfold pumping sounds into the air at Ghostbar, Rain, and the Palms Pool. Video highlights from 2009 include a lot of head bobbing, fist pumping, and a glow in the dark stripper pole. Event organizers must be reading our email, because this year’s event is set to be bigger, better, and last longer. Spread over four days, expect to have your ears penetrated by the likes of Rev Run, Armin Van Buuren, Danny Tenaglia, and of course Pauly D.

If you’re feeling the love and want to get your groove on, tickets start at $20 and go all the way up to $475 for a VIP four day pass.
