The Palms Gets Kinky...Er, Thrifty with $69 Room Rates

We're not usually huge fans of staying at the The Palms for somewhat obvious reasons, namely that it's a little too far off the Strip for our taste and um, hello, Love Festival anyone? But when you're watching pennies, you really can't afford to pass up this deal.

Travelzoo pointed us to this brand-new deal for $69 rooms (heh) on select dates through July. If you're not already subscribing to Travelzoo, do so now. They have great deal alerts from hotel rooms to airfare and even to sporting game tickets.

The low room rates are for mid-week stays (boo) in a deluxe king room but it also throws in $25 daily dining credit, two VIP nightlife passes to the Playboy Club ($100 value) and two spa entry passes ($40 value.) Those are some pretty good incentives and they just happened to coincide with our mid-week trip to Vegas in a few weeks. So we booked it.

You can check out the available dates for the $69 rates here. Early and mid-May seems to be the time when the most $69 rooms are open but there are plenty of dates in April, some in June and less in July.
