We went to Pride the weekend before last, and in amongst the vegan Jamaican stalls and the MGM Mirage and Harrah’s stands trying to out-camp each other (Harrah’s was giving away Cher tickets, MGM Mirage was giving away toy bears, which made us LOL a lot), we got word of a new website: GayVegasTravel.com.
It launched on the day of Pride itself, so it’s brand new and there’s not a huge amount of content just yet, but it looks like, with time, it could be good. They aim to have listings of events, clubnights, locals’ recommendations and places to hold commitment ceremonies.
It definitely has potential - the events page has quite a few good listings already, and the members input is a great idea – or will be, once they get more members commenting – it’s only been a week, after all.
According to our friends in the know, Vegas could really do with a gay-centric site for travelers, so we’re hoping this one racks up some new members pretty fast. Good luck pretties!
