The decor’s all very dark and sexy, with lots of room at the padded-paneled bar and somewhat surprisingly in our experience of the Hard Rock, the staff were very friendly.
What we loved most of all, though, is the "no hassle" (aka no dining caste system) approach they're taking. There are no reservations, there's no sequence of service, so you get each plate as soon as it's ready, regardless of whether the table next to you ordered first. We see that this could get annoying, but for now, we love it anyway.
We're pretty sure it will go down a storm at HRH, and from what we tried, we'd say it's solid - nothing exceptional, but you won't be disappointed. It's somewhere we definitely want to try out for real. Probably on a date (because it would be a good date place, not because we need a date or anything).
Although, of course, if you think there are already too many tapas places in Vegas, you should probably swing by on a Monday or Tuesday, when it’s closed.
