The Prestige Lounge

The Palazzo has recently been touting their Prestige Level of accommodations. While the suites are the same as the ones you would book anyways, the amenities and services are far above the rest. They include:

· Private champagne check in
· Complimentary cocktail reception in the Prestige Lounge on the 23rd floor
· Access to the Canyon Ranch SpaClub® fitness center, admission to Azure, complimentary WiFi
· A deluxe continental breakfast and afternoon teas and coffees, along with several snacks in the Prestige lounge
· A Packing and unpacking service

There are a few more services which you can check out here. We've been privy to the Prestige Lounge and it's quite cool with great views overlooking the Strip. It's also got plenty of peaceful seating areas and personally, we loved grazing the afternoon snacks and goodies.

But to be so "prestigious" you have to pony up a bit more cash, about $100 more a night.

You don't have to pay the $17 resort fee if you book a Prestige room but you will have to decide if it's worth it to do the Prestige level or just suck up the resort fee. We like the idea of the packing/unpacking service and the quietness of the Prestige lounge (ok, and the snacks!) but now that the resort fee includes the fitness center access and internet (our two biggies), Prestige might not be necessary.

Then again, we saw a recent promo for a Prestige Suite Package starting at $349 a night that also includes $50 per day spa credit, a complimentary bottle of champagne, shopping and dining discounts and limo pickup and drop-off from the airport (two-night minimum required.) Ahh, Vegas Decisions!

What do you think--is the Prestige level at The Palazzo totally worth it? Or can you do without? Let us know in comments below!

Prestige at Palazzo

For my husband and I it was Completely worth it.!!!  We love Vegas and travel there often--but we hate the trial of meals.  Find a place to eat--wait in line forever, pay $12 plus tax for a bagel and cream cheese. . . ( and that is just breakfast).  The Prestige eliminates this hassle for us with free continental breakfast.  The food is excellent, varied, and always includes at least one hot dish.  Coffee, juice, bottled water--and exceptional service!  The Prestige lounge is also a place to meet your friends, watch the game, read a book, or just relax!  Each evening there is also complimentary cocktails and appetizers (heavy) from 5-8 PM. Plus Canyon Ranch (spa and fitness) access, free wi-fi, and exceptional service provided by the helpful staff.  Would include Prestige in my next visit for sure--especially in the winter when pool time doesn't really exist (I'd rather relax by the pool).  Now if you are a big gamer, and spend most your time on the gambling floor (and not relaxing in the lounge) you may not find as much benefit in Prestige.  We went to relax, relax relax--and Prestige made that possible.  The extra cost per night was certainly saved in the breakfast, spa access, internet, cocktail and food availability!
