Brad Garrett Wants You To Laugh At The Tropicana Again
The new face of comedy at the Tropicana. We're scared not to laugh.
If you’ve been following along, and we hope you have, you’re aware that the Tropicana has undergone some big changes over the past year. We love the new rooms, for one. Some of the new entertainment, however? Not so much.
The Trop takes another stab at winning over our entertainment budget when Brad Garrett opens up his very own Comedy Club June 28. The new club takes over the old Comedy Stop last run
into the ground by Bobby Slayton. Garrett says he’s looking for an Old Vegas feel by focusing on the customer. We presume that means solid service and not yanking customers out back for a good ol’ talkin’ to.
The first headliner will be Brad Garrett himself opening night through July 4. Currently scheduled to follow him are Kevin Nealon, Dom Irrera, Bob Zany, and Rocky LaPorte with Garrett returning frequently as well.
Tickets start at $39 and can be purchased online. Shows are nightly at 8pm, but if you’re still running out some free slot play there is a second 10pm show Fridays and Saturdays. If we can’t laugh at the Tropicana anymore, at least we can still (hopefully) laugh inside it.
