Which Vegas News Team Cures a Hangover Best?

One of our favorite parts of traveling is checking out the local news broadcasts. If in Los Angeles, we hope to see the next Soup clip from Good Day LA. On the east coast, we might catch a Boston weatherman talking in inches. Elsewhere, we’re probably trying to figure out how our middle school news team secured a bigger budget.

Which Vegas newscast is your fav? Here are just a few of ours:

NBC 3
Time: 5am to 7am
Popular Anchors: Kim and Dana Wagner
Known for: Being married to each other and waking you up. They really do bring the spunk so prepare for the closest Vegas has to the SNL morning show skit.

Fox 5
Time: 7am to 9am
Popular Anchors: Monica Jackson and Jason Feinberg
Known For: Letting Vegas Rant, dissing real news in favor of cat-centric stories, YouTube clips and anything to do with Michael Jackson.

CBS 8
Time: 4am to 7am
Popular Anchors: Dayna Roselli and Dave McCann
Known For: Dayna officially provides the hotness while Dave adds the dry humor we love. The crew also shows off their tech skills well, interacting often on twitter and putting up polls on Facebook.

ABC 13
Time: 5am to 7am
Popular Anchors: Lisa Remillard and Casey Smith
Known For: Exposing crap restaurants in Dirty Dining, offering discount gift certificates, and dancing in high heels (Lisa that is, not Casey).

    i would have to say Fox5 bc its so entertaining. they just spend abt 30 secs on important news and then about 5 minutes on a bear that gets operated on by a dentist. love it!

    feinberg v dayna

    i am split between fox 5, purely for jason feinberg's cats website, and cbs 8, because i have a mammoth crush on helicopter ken. (and dayna's nice too obvs)

    I lean to CBS for news but when I want to realize that anything is possible I switch over to Fox to shake my head at the over-the-top-ness that is Feinberg and his cats.

    Casey and Lisa Lisa are on abc again at 11am and do a bang up job that hour - about when I'd actually be waking up if staying on the strip.

    I like Channel 8! The whole morning team is great. They have a good balance. They have it together more than the others.
