What a lovely morning it is! The world is still laughing at Paris Hilton, and it’s the start of Restaurant Week in Vegas, meaning we can eat food we couldn’t normally afford at prices we can, while helping charity at the same time. Bonza!

Not familiar with what’s going on? Basically, from today until Sunday, 94 Vegas restaurants will be offering three course, prix fixe menus throughout the week for either $20.10 (lunch at Rao’s), $30.10 (lunch or dinner at Serendipity 3) or $50.10 (dinner at RM Seafood) per person. The proceeds go to Three Square.

To see a list of restaurants participating, and the menus they're offering, see the Restaurant Week website. Then stay tuned, because tomorrow, we're going to give you our top restaurant picks.

In the mean time, to get your juices flowing tonight, Wet Republic has an opening ceremony from 8pm-midnight, with stalls from several of the MGM restaurants participating in RW serving samples: Fleur de Lys, Joël Robuchon, Craftsteak, Fiamma, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, Jean Georges Steakhouse, Sage, Sensi, Osteria del Circo and Todd English's Olives. (You'll also get a performance from Recycled Percussion, dancers from Crazy Horse Paris and various raffles and auction).

Tickets cost $30.10, but think of them as free, as you can then use them as a voucher towards a meal at any participating restaurant in Restaurant Week.
