Top 5 Celebrity Arrests In Las Vegas

August 30, 2010 at 3:53 PM | by | ()

While waiting for the real pics of the Paris arrest to filter out over the weekend we got to thinking about other celebs that have gotten themselves into Vegas trouble. Surprisingly there haven’t been as many monumental meltdowns as we’d hoped expected.

There are still plenty enough to come up with our top five Vegas celeb arrests:

5. Paris Hilton:
When: August 2010
Where: The Strip outside Wynn
What: Coke possession after a traffic stop
Paris’s arrest is too fresh to ignore but too new to rank higher than our five spot as details continue to get sorted out. Was the coke purse hers or a friend’s? Was boyfriend Cy Waits fired by Wynn or not? Which Family Guy episode helped Paris cope?

4. Vince Neil
When: June 2010
Where: Near the Strip after leaving Las Vegas Hilton
What: Suspicion of DUI
Classic story of rock star declares his sobriety, opens a restaurant and tequila bar, then takes his black Lamborghini for a ride. What could go wrong?

3. Suge Knight
When: August 2008
Where: Leaving Spearmint Rhino strip club
What: Drug and assault charges
The former Death Row records founder and friend of Tupac Shakur hit the Rhino, then (allegedly) his girlfriend, and failed to produce a prescription for Ecstasy and hydrocodone.

2. Adam “Pac-man” Jones
When: February 2007
Where: Minxx Strip Club
What: Various felonies and misdemeanors
The NFL player’s story played out over several months starting at the strip club where he made it rain over NBA All-Star weekend. That night three people were shot and the finger was pointed at Jones’s entourage. Jones surrendered himself to face two felony charges later that year but ultimately plead no contest to a misdemeanor charge of conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct.

1. Orenthal James Simpson
When: September 2007
Where: Palace Station
What: Criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, assault, robbery, and use of a deadly weapon.
We remember OJ’s low speed car chase and subsequent acquittal of murder charges but it was his Vegas visit to Palace Station that finally landed him in prison. The man wanted his sports memorabilia back and happened to have a gun. Or maybe was just reenacting a movie role.
