Help feed America by feeding yourself at Fleur de Lys. Win/win?

As we mentioned yesterday Restaurant Week Las Vegas kicked off last night and continues through Sunday. It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year to eat out since we get to try new and old preferred spots alike at a discount. And know that we are helping Three Square by gorging ourselves in the process.

With more than 100 restaurants participating this year, up from 85 last year, narrowing your lunch or dinner plans can be an exercise in itself. Luckily, we’re here to help.

Here are five of our top picks for Restaurant Week covering all price points:

Fleur de Lys, Mandalay Bay
Cost: $50.10 per person for Dinner
· Truffled Onion Soup or Salmon Mi-Cuit
· Seared Skirt Steak or Pan Seared Alaskan Halibut
· Chocolate Soufflé
Why: This is one of the last chances to visit the restaurant as it will be closing soon to re-emerge as another Chef Hubert Keller creation. There is also a $30.10 three course dinner if you'd prefer to spend less and don't mind fewer choices.

Origin India, 4480 Paradise Road (across from Hard Rock)
Cost: $30.10 for Dinner
· Tandoori Shrimp or Lamb Kebab or Chicken Tikka or Vegetable Samosa
· Fish Curry or Chicken Makhani or Lamb Curry or Saag Paneer or Dal Dadka
· Vermicelli Panna Cotta or Coconut Crème Brulee
Why: If you like Indian cuisine you need to run to Origin India. Many choices at a reasonable price – and don’t forget to supplement with the expansive cocktail menu.

Marche Bacchus, 2620 Regatta Drive #106
Cost: $50.10 for Dinner
· L’assiette de Fromage
· Seared Tuna with Edamame Hummus or Pork & Fennel Sausage with Orzo Pasta
· Grilled Scottish Salmon or Double Pork Chop
· Bread Pudding or Flourless Grand Marnier Chocolate Cake
Why: Marche Bacchus is a hidden gem that overlooks a small lake 10 miles from the Strip. The sausage is made in house and an attached wine shop guarantees a pairing to match your taste and budget. One of our favorite Vegas spots that is participating for the first time this year.

Rao’s, Caesars Palace
Cost: $20.10 for Lunch
· House Salad or Pizza Bianca or Rao’s Meatballs
· Pizza Margheritta or Calzone di Ricotta or Piadina Romagnola or Spaghetti alla Marinara
· Torta di Ricotta or Tiramisu
Why: For Rao’s famous meatballs. At this price, the rest of lunch is a bonus.

Stratta, Wynn
Cost: $30.10 for Starlight Dinner 10:30pm to 6am
· Caesar Salad or Minestrone Soup
· Meatball Sandwich or Stratta Burger or Eggs Benedict
· Homeade Gelato
Why: Where else are you going to be able to score a meal at 3am while helping out a great charity?

Narrowing the list to only five was nearly impossible. There are so many other restaurants we wanted to list - oh food gods, can’t you extend your wise offerings to two weeks?

Where will you be eating this week in honor of Restaurant Week? For a list of all restaurants participating and their menus, visit the Three Square website (or moBistro from your smart phone) and give us your top choices below.
