The great news, however, is that CityCenter is low. Mandarin Oriental is $235 a night (MO or CP? Uhhh….) and you can bag a room at Aria for as little as $167, or Vdara for $159. The moral of the tale? All hail the price-lowering death ray. Long may it continue (as long as it doesn’t finish off CityCenter.

You may thank this for keeping your Halloween rates down
It’s time for another rate check for Halloween, and this time we’re focusing on the expensive hotels in case you’re after a blowout. The bad news? Prices are high. The good? They’re not ridiculously so, yet. The Venetian and Palazzo are both $259 a night, while Bellagio is $279, Wynn $299 and Encore an astounding $359 per night. Caesars, meanwhile, is $219 but seeing as that price will get you this room, we’d stay away from that one.
