Vegas Dilemma: What Should We See?

December 15, 2011 at 3:29 PM | by | Comments (9)

It's human nature to seek the opinion of others.

Earlier this year, we found out that we get two free tickets to select Caesars Entertainment shows every month as a perk of being a card-carryin' Diamond member of Total Rewards. This VegasChatter member isn't necessarily a "show" person so we tend to forgot about the bonus. Until now. Since we don't want this to go to waste next year, we're forcing ourselves to remember. This is where you come in.

Since we're not really show people, we don't pay much attention to what's good and what's not (we know, we're bad). When we first learned about the free show tickets earlier this year we asked Twitter where to send our parents on their first trip to Vegas. The results were Legends In Concert and they loved it.

That was done in a pinch, since we had to get the tickets in a few minutes. This time, we're planning ahead for ourselves. We're leaning towards Human Nature for our first show because people tell us it's good. But, from the list below, what would you recommend we see?

●George Wallace

●Vinnie Favorito

●Nathan Burton

●X-Burlesque

●Dirk Arthur's Wild Magic

●Mac King

●Legends In Concert

●Defending The Caveman

●The Improv

●Human Nature

●Frank Marino's Divas Las Vegas

●Name That Tune Live!

Think it over and then share your pick in the comments below. We're counting on your Vegas know-how to get us in front of the best show of the bunch.

human nature

there

Mac King

Mac is an genius. Don't let the plaid misdirect you. He will fool you bad. Ask any pro magician.

I've only seen one

Of that list, I've only seen Nathan Burton so I can't help much.

But if it were me, I'd prob go with Human Nature as well based on rep.  Then I might lean toward George Wallace the following month just to see if there's anything more to being the best 10pm show in Vegas than being the only 10pm show.

I never hear much about the Improv either so I might check that out for a laugh.

From Nikki Mondella Medaugh on Facebook

"Vinnie Favorito is only good if you want to laugh your ass off! If you don't like the sharpest funniest man in Vegas then by all means stay away! Mac King is everything you never expected, no big production, just pure talent! Not the most expensive but clearly FANTASTIC!"

My Picks

I've only seen Defending the Caveman and George Wallace out of that list. Based on those two, George Wallace, hands down. He is actually quite funny. Also, he tends to have friends like Jerry Seinfeld pop in all the time. And, he gives away things, too, to lucky audience members. Or, at least he did.

Ok, I lied. I've also been to the Improv. That was years and years ago, though. Going would depend on who's performing that week/month.

I lied too

I've also seen Defending the Caveman but must've missed it in the list.  Doesn't change the fact that I didn't mention it though.

The Votes are in

Human Nature, Mac King and I MUST see George Wallace at some point in my life. Thanks peeps!
