With This Eraser Ring Inside The Cosmopolitan's Pop-Up Wedding Chapel, I Thee Wed

When the Cosmopolitan opened last year, conspicuously absent was a wedding chapel, something that most other casino/resorts in Las Vegas are crazy about touting (especially on holidays and palindrome days). Yet, even though the Cosmo may have forgotten to build one opted out of going to chapel, they've decided to enter into a trial marriage with weddings--by building the first-ever pop-up wedding chapel.

The chapel will open on December 28 at street-level meaning everyone walking by on the Strip can be your wedding guests. The pop-up chapel will also be accompanied by a retail space where you can buy wedding bands, create faux wedding announcements and pose for photos in the photo booth (which will then post the photos to Facebook and Twitter). There will even be a take on the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign done by artist Jerry Misko for which you and your beloved can pose in front of.

All weddings will include a 20-minute ceremony, champagne poppers and Molla Space eraser rings dispensed from a gumball machine. Hmmm, eraser rings. Very telling.

The brides and grooms can then add-on amenities like custom playlists, party favors, flowers, photo packages and post-ceremony receptions.

There are three wedding packages available but the most expensive one--Going to the Chapel package--is just $195 and includes the wedding ceremony, one bottle of Sofia Coppola champagne, two Molla Space eraser rings, two photos in the photo booth, party favors, a gift bag, two logo t-shirts, six cake tops and four spots on the Marquee guest list.

The chapel will be 12pm to 10pm during the week and 12p to 12am Thursday through Sunday. So if you want to get married after drinking all day, you should somehow arrive at this decision earlier in the evening, like say 9pm. And remember, while anyone can get married in these ceremonies (even your pets!), legally binding ceremonies will cost an additional $90.
