How To Wine and Dine Your Sweetheart On Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is less than a month away now. And, if you're planning to spend it with your special someone in Vegas (and coming out of your room at some point), the time to make your dinner reservations is now.

Of course, restaurants with a view will be a big draw for romantics. There are the Strip dining views of The Cosmopolitan and the lakeside views of many of Bellagio's restaurants, from Picasso (seen above) and Prime to Olive's and Yellowtail. (And, let's not forget about the new phenomenal views of Hyde.) You can also get high on love at above-it-all restos like Mix at Mandalay Bay, Alize at the Palms and Voodoo at Rio.

If nothing says love more than gazing into each other's eyes over a good steak, gnaw over on list of the top five in town. Or, skip straight to dessert by dropping into Sugar Factory at Planet Hollywood, Jean Philippe Patisserie at either Bellagio or Aria or Serendipity 3 at Caesars.

If you'd rather it's all done for you, their are restaurants galore offering prix fixe Valentine's Day menus. Simon at Palms Place will have a four-course menu for $75 per person offering everything from oysters to poached lobster while the Stratosphere will feature dinner for a song. Excuse us, we mean dinner with a song -- a four-course meal at Top of the World restaurant paired with an evening with Frankie Moreno ($119).

And, if Valentine's Day evokes the same feelings in you as hearing about that other VD, there's no need to feel like a douche. You can stand firmly against VD (either or both) by attending the anti-party of LBS Burger at Red Rock on February 14. They'll offer a special shot-and-cocktail combo priced at $14 for all the single ladies. And, the single fellas, too.
