Tips on Eating Downtown

A fine burger and a great value. But did Binion's Cafe make the list?

It's no secret we have a weakness for food. When we started crafting our Guide to Downtown Las Vegas, we happily sacrificed our bodies for research by eating our way through downtown.

Think the fried Twinkie is the best Fremont has to offer? Think again. And eating downtown means you can skip trying to guess which celebrity chef is worth spending a buck for. For one reason or another the name brand chef craze hasn't reached downtown yet.

That doesn't mean choices are limited when dining around Fremont. You can spend as little as a 99 cents or rack up bills that rival any fine dining restaurant on the Strip. In fact narrowing down our list of Where To Eat was so difficult, we created two lists. And still had to leave out several restaurants putting out solid meals.
