Tweet Of The Weekend: The Airport of Shame

April 25, 2011 at 2:33 PM | by | Comment (1)

Many people got trashed in Vegas this weekend. Good for us that lots of people told the world about it. So, every Monday we bring you our favorite tweet of the weekend.

Surely in Vegas of all places there is no walk of shame. No, walking back to your room in your club best as others pass you on the way to breakfast holds no stigma here. (In fact, you'd probably get a high five.) Nor does being wheeled back to your room. (And, really, isn't that a badge of honor?) Nor does being drunk and lost on The Strip in the early am hours. (Chances are you'll bump into a comfy place to rest your head.)

But, the one place you will be judged - or at least photographed - is the one place you likely can't avoid, McCarran International Airport. Like the unfortunate guy put on blast by Twitter's @JanellHarlot this weekend:

"Vegas is clearly not for everyone- this is at airport"

We'll never know what led to this moment, but anyone who's ever done Vegas must feel his pain ... even if we snortle and snigger a bit, too. Ok, a lot. And, pass along the link, too. Sorrs, anonymous plaid clad stranger, but a good pic is a good pic.

So, what's the craziest thing you've ever seen at McCarran? Tell us in the comments below!

caught on camera

Nice pic. shows reality, people being lost after they drink a lot, unaware of being caught on camera.
