Block Party Alert: Rock the Gondola Wednesday

Get ready to rock with your gondola out. The Venetian and Palazzo are throwing a block party this Wednesday and you're invited. For those that need a reason to party, the shindig is being thrown to celebrate the launch of the Las Vegas Sands' alliance with the Intercontinental Hotels Group.

The block party, complete with complimentary food and beverages gets started at 12:30pm near the outside gondola ride entrance at the Venetian. Who said it was tough to get comps these days? To get the party started right, DJ Twisted from the Azure pool will be outside to blast the beats.

There will be some executive remarks at 1pm but you'll be nomming on free food and drinks, remember? Although the suits will be sharing details of the new alliance and benefits to Priority Club Rewards members (IHG's loyalty program) so it'll be worth a listen.
