If mobile gaming includes sports betting, which we assume it does, we can still see ourselves dropping a few bucks into a device on our next trip or night at Palazzo. As we said earlier this year, Lagasse Stadium is so far away from the rooms that our lazy butts may not want to leave just for a bet. This may also give Cantor Gaming the ammunition to expand gaming outside of the casino with mobile sports betting apps like Leroy's and Station Casinos.

It's Official: Gaming In Hotel Rooms Now Legal

Earlier this year we wondered if you would want to gamble in your hotel room if the law and technology allowed and were not surprised by responses. You said, both here and on twitter, that you're not likely to gamble in your room, but you may be willing to give it a chance. Well, the ability to gamble in our hotel rooms has been approved and is now a legal reality as of October 1.
Still, the question exists will you gamble in your hotel room? First stop on the mobile gaming train will be Cantor Gaming. Cantor already has a step into the casinos as well as nifty mobile devices in several sportsbooks. Expect to see their products expand and expect to see more way too sexy ads designed to make us think the hottie next to us wants to go to our hotel room to gamble. Of course, if the hottie doesn't want to head up to our room maybe she'll want to head over to the parking garage, where mobile gaming is now legal, too.
