Does Planet Hollywood want you, Cee Lo?

We like him because he's fun, fearless and we want him to be a friend of ours and if a VegasChatter tipster is right, so does Planet Hollywood.

Cee Lo Green dished on plans for a Vegas residency back in July during an appearance on TODAY, but cleverly left out the details about where and when (perhaps because there were none).

Now, today (this today) comes word that Caesars Entertainment may be keeping Cee Lo in the family. After all, he did tape a commercial for it show us how cool Caesars Palace still can be. Our tipster says that PH is the top Vegas contender for a Cee Lo residency. Sorry, soon-to-be-showless Venetian-slash-Palazzo.

If the rumor is right on target, it would make sense for Cee Lo to headline at the resort's Performing Arts Theater and, right now, there are only acts scheduled through October 1. Could that bring Cee Lo to Vegas for the holidays? Time will tell, but that's one ticket we wouldn't mind dipping into the holiday savings for.
