When we partied at Marquee recently, we figured that we would end up having a bit too much to drink so we decided to get a room for the night. We booked the cheapest room at The Cosmo to see what our newly upgraded Identity Platinum card would do and were pleasantly surprised. Not only did we get an upgrade to a room with a nice view, we scored a 600-square-foot suite with a balcony view of the Bellagio fountains! Too bad we have a fear of heights and were afraid to enjoy the balcony, but we did peek out the window to snap the view you see at top.
As we've reported in past Cosmo reviews, the rooms are beautiful. In this particular floorplan, the thing that really stood out to us was the bathroom. After walking through the shower there is a Japanese soaking tub with a view of the Bellagio fountains. This is a different layout than we've heard about before and we liked it a lot. The last hotel room in Vegas that this particular VegasChatter member fell for like this was a suite at Palazzo. Everything in the Cosmo's one-bedroom suite was perfect and even the faces in the closet were a nice touch and not nearly as creepy as they sound.
While just about everything in the suite was great, we did find one fault with the room that is a personal preference more than anything. Besides the bed having too many pillows, it wasn't very comfortable. We may have had too much vodka, though, to really have a good night sleep, anyway.
