Even more food and bar choices will be found inside the long-awaited Terminal 3 which will make its debut this summer in June. (Dare we hope for a trendy Cat Cora Kitchen?) You'll likely know T3 well as many of the major airlines will taxi up to its gate, from Virgin America and United/Continental to Frontier and Jet Blue, and more. International flights will head there, too.
So, that's the new. Find the improved in an on-going status over at C concourse which is undergoing extensive renovation to make it prettier more modern (???), but that also will ensure Wi-Fi is "more robust." We'll take that to mean better. Way better. Expect that to come online late this year. Until then, it's important to note that your Southwest flight may not necessarily be on the C concourse. Some flights are using 'B.' Just check before you head the wrong way.
And, one really cool thing that might be worth jostling over a window seat for will be the airport's new air traffic control tower. When it makes its debut, it will be the second-tallest tower in the US and "will feature first-of-its-kind unobstructed 14-foot window panels." Ok, that might just be cool to us. And, maybe Jaunted, too.
