Have You Eaten at Mr. Chow at The Harmon Hotel?

Here's one way to catch your braggart friends in a lie about how well they "do up" Vegas -- ask them if they've ever eaten at the famous Mr. Chow restaurant in Las Vegas? If they say yes, you'll know they are totally lying.

That's because Mr. Chow, while it planned to open in the Harmon Hotel (see HotelChatter's story from 2008), the hotel was never finished and is now going to be demolished.

However, Mr. Chow must not read VegasChatter because he's still plugging the Las Vegas location on his website. And, even mainstream media reports are referencing the Vegas outpost as recently yesterday.

Looks like Mr. Chow may need to hire a webmaster now. Or, maybe actually open a restaurant in Vegas. We'll take either one, preferably the latter.

Also, the New York Times is calling Machine Guns Vegas a "resort". #doh

Worst Kept Secret in Las Vegas

Mr. Chow still plans to open and I believe that contractual obligations require the hotel parent to company to compete opening. A location has already been determined for quit some time. It was just a matter of timing. I'm actually sad about the closure of the place it's going to take.
